CONGRESSMAN MIKE LAWLER’S STATEMENT REGARDING THE RELEASE OF HOUSE ETHICS COMMITTEE REPORT ON GEORGE SANTOS

Today, Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) released the following statement after the House Ethics Committee released its long-awaited report on Congressman George Santos.

“George Santos should end this farce and resign immediately,” said Congressman Mike Lawler. “If he refuses, he must be removed from Congress.”

“His conduct is not only unbecoming and embarrassing, it is criminal,” concluded Congressman Lawler. “He is unfit to serve and should resign today.”

New York's 17th Congressional District is just north of New York City and contains all or parts of Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties.
