Pearl River, N.Y.– 1/27/26… Today, Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) announced a significant milestone for his district offices’ casework team, which has now closed over 8,000 constituent cases and over $39 million in funding for the residents of New York’s Hudson Valley since he took office in January 2023. Congressman Lawler’s casework team has assisted thousands of families and individuals across Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties with issues involving federal agencies, including Social Security, Medicare, veterans’ benefits, immigration services, passports, disaster assistance, and tax-related matters. “Every case that comes through our office represents a real person who needs help, and we take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s a senior trying to access Social Security, a veteran fighting for earned benefits, or a family navigating a federal agency, my team is committed to cutting through the confusion and delivering results. Since taking office, we’ve closed more than 8,000 cases,” said Congressman Lawler.
