Washington, D.C. - 3/2/2025… Yesterday, the Trump administration expedited the delivery of approximately $4 billion in military assistance to Israel. This is a continuation of the reversal of the partial arms embargo by the Biden administration, and is on top of the approval of $12 billion in FMS sales to Israel. “I applaud Secretary Rubio and the entire Trump Administration for their quick action to ensure Israel has what it needs to destroy and dismantle Hamas,” said MENA Subcommittee Chairman Lawler. “Shame on the Biden Administration for slow walking and blocking aid. Israelis can sleep more soundly at night knowing they have a strong ally in the White House.” Congressman Lawler is one of the most bipartisan members of Congress and represents New York's 17th Congressional District, which is just north of New York City and contains all or parts of Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties.
