Washington, D.C. - 2/18/2025… Today, Congressman Mike Lawler applauded President Trump’s signing of an Executive Order aimed at expanding access to and lowering the cost of IVF treatments.

“Every family in America should have access to IVF treatments at a lower cost,” said Congressman Lawler (NY-17). “Millions of people struggle with fertility, and that should not be a barrier to starting a family. President Trump’s Executive Order today will make incredible progress on this front.”

“Last Congress, I introduced the IVF Access and Affordability Act to tackle precisely this issue,” Lawler concluded. “I’m thrilled to see President Trump taking the lead on this important issue and look forward to working with my Congressional colleagues in a bipartisan way to improve access to IVF services for all Americans.”

Congressman Lawler is one of the most bipartisan members of Congress and represents New York's 17th Congressional District, which is just north of New York City and contains all or parts of Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester Counties.
