LAWLER: ATTACKS AGAINST THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY HAVE NO PLACE IN OUR SOCIETY

VANDALISM AGAINST ROCKLAND PRIDE CENTER IS UNACCEPTABLE

Washington, D.C., January 11, 2023

 Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) released the following statement condemning today’s act of vandalism against the Rockland Pride Center.

“The Rockland Pride Center provides invaluable resources to the local LGBTQ community, including healthcare and family services” said Rep. Lawler. “Today members of that community found their building vandalized with bigoted slurs.

“This is simply unacceptable. Hate has no place in the 17th District or anywhere in our country.”
