CONGRESSMAN LAWLER AND OVER FIFTY MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE CALL OUT LIES ABOUT VETERANS SERVICES BEING PUSHED BY BIDEN ADMINISTRATION

Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17) joined dozens of lawmakers today calling out lies about "cuts" to veterans services being pushed by the Biden Administration and House Democrats. The full text of the letter can be viewed below.

"President Biden and House Democrats have been engaging in bald-faced lies about perceived 'cuts' to Veterans Services, without any credible evidence to back up their claim," said Congressman Lawler. "The Limit, Save, and Grow Act makes no mention of any 'cuts' to veterans services, leaving all non-discretionary spending decisions up to the Appropriations Committee. Even the Washington Post has said that there are no cuts to veterans services in this bill."

"My House Republican colleagues and I stand opposed to any negative cuts or changes to veterans services," concluded Congressman Lawler. "Our veterans deserve the best care possible, and using them as political pawns, as President Biden and Hakeem Jeffries have, is shameful."
