Congressman Mike Lawler (NY-17), a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the following statement upon news of a deadly terror attack that left 2 victims dead, including a young child:

My heart goes out to the victims of today’s deadly terror attack in Israel’s Capital. This is part of a repeated pattern of attacks by extremists who believe the State of Israel doesn’t have a right to exist and who target those who practice the Jewish faith intentionally and with impunity. We must never waver in our commitment to the peace and security of Israel. Acts of terror against the Jewish people cannot and will not stand. All who are responsible for this evil act must be brought to justice.
