Protecting American Data Privacy and Security from the CCP

We recently passed the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, or, as many are calling it "the TikTok bill." No, the bill doesn't ban TikTok. Rather, it would require TikTok to divest itself from its Chinese-owned parent company. Should this legislation pass the Senate and be signed into law by the White House, Americans will still be able to access the TikTok content they love, but they will also be protected from having their data breached by the Chinese government while doing so. Do you agree that measures like this are important for protecting the data privacy and security of Americans? Let me know by responding to our survey below!
