Those Responsible for 9/11 Must Face Justice

While I am glad Secretary Austin pulled the plea deal for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his co-conspirators, there never should have been one offered in the first place. My new bill, the Justice for 9/11 Act, will ensure one is never offered again. Specifically, this bill would prevent the Biden-Harris administration from offering plea deals to the 9/11 terrorists by requiring a trial and ensuring the death penalty remains an option in sentencing. It would also require the terrorists to be kept at Guantanamo Bay in solitary confinement and prohibit them from being extradited to another country. We owe it to the families of those who lost loved ones on 9/11 to ensure those responsible face the full weight of justice.

Do you agree that a plea deal should be off the table for those behind the 9/11 attacks? Let me know by responding to the survey below.
