Congressman Mike Lawler just issued the following statement on the assassination attempt on President Trump at his Pennsylvania rally: 

"I am praying for President Trump and his family, those in attendance at today’s rally, and our nation. Today’s assassination attempt is a tragedy for our country and must be universally condemned. Our elections must be decided by voters, not violence. We must come together as a nation and make it clear this will not be tolerated," said Congressman Lawler.
