CONGRESSMAN LAWLER DENOUNCES THREATS MADE AGAINST HUDSON VALLEY'S JEWISH COMMUNITIES

Congressman Lawler released the following statement after news of a potential "National Day of Hate" made headlines across the country.

"I am deeply disturbed by reports of a 'National Day of Hate' by extremist groups targeting our Jewish communities here in the Hudson Valley. Hate of any kind has no place in the Hudson Valley or in our country," said Congressman Lawler. "I’m proud to represent one of the largest Jewish populations in the country here in New York’s 17th District and to have spent much time meeting with Jewish business owners and school administrators just in the past 24 hours alone. I will never waver in my support of our Jewish community and ensuring the Hudson Valley is a safe place to live, work, and raise a family."
